Builder Agent Network Announces Expansion of Insurance Program for Texas …
DALLAS, Jan 30, 2012 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Builder Agent Network, managing general agency for Builders Insurance Group's Texas products, has announced a new product for the home building and contractor markets. The umbrella/excess liability policy was released earlier this month providing excess liability at premium and coverage options customized for each type of risk. The policy can provide coverage for Subsidence and Injury to a Subcontractor's Employees. This coverage is very difficult to procure in today's marketplace.
"Providing insurance coverage to the Texas construction industry, especially to home builders and developers, has been a challenge for many years. Builder Agent Network offers the building community a sustainable insurance program, underwritten by solid carriers like Builders Insurance Group, who are rated A-(Excellent) by A.M. Best Company. The program is distributed only through carefully selected agents specializing in construction. Our goal is to meet the needs of the building community by providing insurance to work alongside the best practices of risk management, as taught by the Texas Association of Builders," said Anne Sheahen, Vice President, Builder Agent Network.
"We are committed to the Texas home builder and continue to be involved at the highest level to bring the best and most competitive products to Texas for the betterment of everyone involved in this industry, including the home buyer," said Doug Hotchkiss, President, Hotchkiss Insurance Agency, LLC and Builder Agent Network. "As a whole, the Texas home building industry is better served by insurance agencies that provide multiple options when it comes to insurance. Builder Agent Network's products include the most comprehensive insurance solutions available for Texas home builders and light general contractors."
