Viaduct Lounge in Cleveland’s Ohio City closing Saturday: Restaurant Row

Saturday is the last day you'll be able to book a table at Viaduct Lounge in Ohio City. That is, unless you're booking the entire space for an event.

Randy Kelly, who operates Viaduct with his wife, Linda Syrek, says that the business will close to the public after dinner service Saturday evening.

"With the large number of requests we get for private parties, we have decided to end daily service and focus on just the events," Kelly said in an email note.

"We believe the space is much better suited for this format," Kelly added.

The restaurant earned a three-star review from The Plain Dealer's earlier this year and a place on the newspaper's 2012 A-List Restaurants, a compilation of the area's finest dining destinations. Often described as enjoying one of Cleveland's coolest geographic settings, Viaduct is located on the Superior Viaduct downtown.

In partnership with developer Alan Glazen, Kelly and Syrek also run ABC The Tavern, XYZ The Tavern, and recently took ownership of the Ontario Street Caf in downtown Cleveland. Another restaurant, ABC Uptown, is slated to open in the fall.
