A few weeks ago, Forbes called Cleveland one of the unhappiest places to work in the country. But today, MSN listed us as one of the 10 coolest cities in the Midwest.

Sure, it was just the Midwest. But we'll take it.

"Los Angeles and New York City may be well-regarded as musical hotbeds, but Cleveland does indeed rock," the website said.

Here's the cool company we keep: Chicago; Columbus; Kansas City, Mo.; Milwaukee; Ann Arbor, Mich.; Omaha, Neb.; Minneapolis/St. Paul; St. Louis; and Madison, Wis.

"America's heartland too frequently gets labeled as flyover country -- the states you fly over to get between the East and West coasts," MSN says. "But take another look and you'll notice that the Midwest harbors some of the country's coolest college towns, hippest city neighborhoods, cheapest real estate, best cuisine and all-around greatest places to live and visit."
